Haye has Roys speed and 20x his power.

A Haye jab would obliterate Roy.

remember Haye isnt a bum so Roy wouldnt even fight him.

when talking about the fastest fighters of all time... roy is ALWAYS top 3, if not #1... if someone mentioned David Haye in that discussion, they would immediately be banned from the conversation

Jones would be way faster but i think Haye could take JOnes' punch better than Jones' could take Haye's punch

Roy gets KOd if he gets caught.

Thing is, were talking about at HW. Let's be serious here, a Ruiz win does not mean you'd beat Haye. Different kettle of fish.

In terms of more relentless, meaningful, extended well placed shots at HW, Haye would be getting the better of Roy.

You talking hand speed, or movement speed?

Because in the handspeed department Meldrick Taylor has him licked. Then again, Meldrick had everyone licked in that category.

If all fighters knew and understood that a good jab worked on a certain opponent, they would throw those punches in those fights. Not all fighters are created equal and Roy was created from a mold that was introduced only to make him and then was destroyed. The Jones that beat Ruiz would have beat Haye and based on Haye's chin, it would probably been by TKO.

Haye by KO. Not a 'no-brainer' by any means but Haye has the punches to stop Jones and the speed to get enough of them delivered.

I'm honestly surprised to see so many saying a Jones UD. I just can't see this fight going that far; in my book Jones has decent KO chances too. Haye's chin is not the best (if not 'glass'), and Jones would have no trouble connecting with it on occasion.

P.S. The original post mentioned prime v. prime. As a HW at least, I don't think we have yet seen Haye's.
