When I was talking of the reasons why Evander Holyfield was getting some cheers, it was underlining the fact he could have been from any country. So national bias on a lot watching it, for a lot of people goes out of the window.

I have no attachment either to Holyfield, I watched a fighter win a fight, only he didn't. That has enraged me post the fight, because of all the things on him as a person which makes it all the worse in concluding it, that he was robbed. The same goes for Johnson, older guys getting robbed so a younger champion can crack on.

Also, when both came in the ring there was just cheers of respect for Evander, again he coulda be chinese, it was pleasantry that's all, Valuev was welcomed too. But it was in the ring where people felt Evander was winning, and it was on him doing more to win that fight that left people with no real attachements to either, to feel enraged that the guy whom won was robbed.

I watched it without Bernstein's commentary and Holyfield clearly won.

I just watched. One of the worst robberies I've seen, Holyfield at the very least won 116-112, I had it 117-111. Valuev is a joke of a title holder who hides in Europe to get these bull**** decisions, fighting a FORTY SIX year old who hasnt won a significant fight in 6 years, who is relatively shot. Unbelieveable, **** Valuev and **** those ****head judges.

Valuev wasn't welcomed he was booed on the way to the ring because of all the set ups and tankjobs on his resume. No wonder he never cracks a smile. He's a shaven gorilla who is the modern day Primo Carnera. If Sauerland ever let's him go its going to get ugly. He's this era's Carnera. A guy like that always rears his basketball sized head in weak eras.
