Floyd aint coming back, he has been out of the ring since December 2007 and he is 31 years old...... he has been inactive all that time and if he were to come back it would probably be without a tune up fight and thier would surely be ring rust. Who knows if he is 31 he might have lost a step aswell add this to his bad hands and he is as good as done

Guy looked at his best last time out, Great fighters come back without tune ups and are as good as ever im thinking of Tito vs Mayorga and Tszyu vs Mitchell, anyway he may well have a tune up.
Floyds rich as **** but the guy likes to splurge and to gamble he could always use another 10 mill!

Inactivity kills. And I also said he was a declined fighter; at least mentally. It's possible to get that back but he has to "want" it. Physically, I'm not sure. He hasn't fought great physically, with all his tools, since Gatti. Which is why I don't enjoy watching him fight. He is frustrating.
I compared him to Hopkins at 36+ and Roy in his 30's at LH when he changed as a fighter.
It sucks...as fan, it's not good.
It's also why I said Pac should retire within the next two years.
I'm not big on seeing fighters fall of the cliff even though I do think most enjoy it in some way...it ends the show. I understand it, but at this point, right now; it's not for me.
I was glad he retired and don't want to see him back unless, he gets his ass in gear, which I did say Floyd Sr. could possibly do that...and, he has to get in shape right now...possibly have a tune-up which is shaky for me because of Leonard, and see where he is at.
Don't fight long; one fight, Pac; and your out. It's just to clean up the mess.Last edited by Benny Leonard; 12-09-2008, 12:11 PM.

People need to get over KO.
If Hatton would have taken the fight when it was supposed to happen, Floyd would have made Hatton exactly what Floyd Sr. said: Gatti 2.
This over-cautious mentality he has now is ruining him.

this guy must have been punched in the head to many times. floyd is far from done, his p4p crown is there waiting for him to come pick it back up as soon as he wants. floyd stays in the gym, he pretty much lives in it, he always stays sharp and in good shape, maybe not fighting sharp or fighting shape but nothing a camp cant do. if he comes back im sure you will be eating your words
