Pacquiao was a flyweight at like 16 years old. Should we say Delahoya is natural lightweight because he started there at 18 years?

I agree, the problem is a lot of Mexican fans on here think they can go around calling every other fighter a quitter, but when you mention one of their fav Mexcians who has in the past quit they cant handle it.

i never did think of odlh as a "mexican" esque fighter, never in my life
        i wasnt shocked at all

barrera/marquez/morales, etc. on the other hand you'll never see "quit" without even freaking trying

if i remember barrera was getting killed when his trainer stopped it. if the trainer havent he would have still fought no doubt bout it

With all due respect, I don't care where a man is from, what his ethnicity is, where he grew up, how bad his neighborhood or his country was, his tough upbringing, how many times he got shot, how many people he shot, how many tattoos he has, how long he was in jail, the name of his gang, his bad attitiude, his nasty stare, etc etc etc...every man has a limit, every man has that time in his life when his mind works differently than it did at other times in his life. Just like people, fighters change, fighters reach a time when what they would endure before giving up somehow doesnt make up enough of a reason to endure it for that long again. Oscar is a different person, certainly a different fighter, than he was when he fought Chavez, Tito, etc etc. The changes in a man (a boxer) often arent visible to the naked eye and often aren't visible to the audience until something -or someone- the circumstances, forces him to show it. The ring is where all the lies and truths of your cirumstances on that day come sailing into the light.

de la hoya is american man i thought yall knew !!!, yeah his parents are mexican but lets be real, his enviroment now, and his mentality is all americanized. he aint got that gritty, that inner toughness that people have when they are more pure and more connected to their roots, specially when your roots involves growin up in the ****** and with no money for most of your life, and that part of oscars life was longggggggg time ago. Bottom line is Oscar is soft !!! even his lifestyle is ****in soft, that **** translates into the ring specially at this point in oscars career.

David Diaz predicted this fight I think, he could see through Oscar fake Mexican blood. He is like a spoiled white mexican brat, he isn't true mexican blood.
After you take a beating like that and go 12 rounds then you get to come on here and talk **** ti then show some class.

                    it's a farce.

odlh is 100% mexican by blood. he quit on his stool. barrera is 100% mexican and his corner threw the towel in and said "no mas".

this has nothing to do with the blood or the background they came from this has to do with a fighter's spirit.
