    Wasn't that a terrible stoppage? (Oscar vs Manny)

    It's not like Oscar's eye was completely shut and little Manny probably couldn't give Oscar too much brain damage. Oscar could handle more punishment. I felt cheated when they stopped it so early. I worked hard looking for a sopcast link to enjoy the event.

    Manny still would have won if the fight had gone on, of course

    The fight should have been stopped midway in the 7th round!

    Oscar prolly thought the fight better be stopped than get ko'd in the 9th round as Freddie predicted.

      Have sympathy for the boxers, Manny was landing at will and Oscars face looked like a red balloon. The fight got rightfully stopped, De La Hoya wasnt punching back anymore.

          Whats the point in continuing if you are just getting beat badly?? If you have no chance to win then there's no point in continuing.

            how is that a bad stoppage?

            it's easy to say **** like that when you're in the comfort of your home, drinking a beer while DLH was in the ring getting pounded.

                  De La Hoya wanted the fight to be stopped. Nacho asked Oscar if he wanted to go one more round and Oscar was too out of it to answer him.
