I dont think he is the most popular because there are other fighters who have a huge following but I have noticed alot of people have him listed as one of their favorites. JMM is a master of the art and always puts on a good show as he amazes people with some of the stuff he can do.

      my favorite active fighter.

"who lands an uppercut from the OUTSIDE? JMM, thats who" - Max Kellerman

Seriously, he brings a great mix of agressive technicality that he is great to watch. At least now he is for casuals. Amazing counterpuncher and an even better combination puncher.

I think what the threadstart was saying that he seems to be a favorite amongst members here on this board. He doesn't mean that he is the most popular fighter on the board, just that the majority seem to like him.

Love him, he's the best and I was the only one who predicted he was gonna TKO that cuban guy because no one gave him a chance.

No reason not to be a JMM fan. Dude can scrap. Just don't tell that to Sonic Flood.

I don't know how mexican's think of this but it's clearly an insult to Manny

Yeah, I wasn't to fond of how he went about that at all. But I wasn't also to fond of Manny asking for a rematch if he lost, but no rematch if he won in the contract or no fight either.

clearly it's not the proper way to negotiate..
