De La Hoya started fighting at super featherweight and has fought big dudes..
Vargas, Sturm, Hopkins, Castillejo, Trinidad...
De La Hoya has nothing left to prove, his legacy is what it is regardless of what he do.
He don't NEED to fight anybody or prove anything.

Fighting Pacquiao will almost be like when he was fighting Hopkins only he will be in Hopkins position and Manny will be in his. Bernard Hopkins has never seen a day below middleweight.
