Margarito Will Stop Mayweather If They Ever Fight...

Come On People, We All Know Why Floyd Retired And It Wasn,t Because He Wanted Too, It,s Because He Had Too... Sooner Or Later He Would Have To Look In Tony Eyes And Know Theres No Way In Hell He Could Not Only Hurt This Guy But, Have To Literally Run As In Run From This Guy For 12 Rounds...cotto Tried And Failed And He,s Stronger Than Mayweather In Every Way, So There,s No Other Way To Say It, That Floyd Would Be Terrorized To Fight Antonio Period...tony By Mutilation If They Ever Fought....not Saying This Because I,m A Fan, It,s The Honest Truth...this Guy Whoever He Fights He Beats Them Up ....come On People , Let Me Know Where Mayweather Would Stand Against Antonio If He Comes Back Right Now And Wanted To Fight Tony...just Like Ali Said - You Can Run But You Can,t Hide...

That sounds about right to me. However, Floyd could pull out a UD with a total bike ride and no slip ups. But, the odds are that there will be slip ups and Margarito will capitalize.

Floyd's too good of a defensive fighter for that. It'd be interesting to see Floyd have to deal with that kind of intensity and workrate though.

Kedashy you're a smart man. Floyd is hard to hit if you only aim for his head.

You gotta hit his body, chest, arms, forearms, shoulders rough him up. Mayweather will have nothing to earn Margarito's respect so there wont be anything stopping Margarito from punishing Floyd.

Floyd is far too good defensively.

One of the most under-rated qualities of Mayweather's defense is his ability to control the pace of the fight, using Ring Generalship. He only struggled against Castillo who was a master of Ring Generalship and could cut off the ring better than anyone today. He forced Floyd to fight. He also happened to be 24 years old at the time (people seem to think Floyd is the same fighter at 31 as he was at 24, which is laughable)

Margarito averages roughly a 100 punches thrown a round? If they ever fought, you could expect that number to be reduced to about 50-60, simply because Floyd won't allow it, and Margarito is not good enough to do it. Floyd will constantly be out of position where Margarito cannot throw a punch. Margarito is not fast on his feet like Hatton was, and he has a horrible tendency to follow his opponent around the ring rather than cut it off. Floyd would win this fight easily by staying out of range and scoring on Margarito's non-existant defense. Do you honestly think Floyd will try to hurt Margarito? All he has to do is pop-shot, and that will be very easy to do.

Floyd outclasses Margarito10-2, 11-1 in a dull, boring, blowout.

And then the Margarito bandwagon magically disappears, and it's just another over-hyped bum on Floyd's resume and that he's nothing but a Fraud. Thank god he retired.

Isn't Floyd coming back? Floyd would do all night long what Cotto was only able to do in the first half and do it better, and that is to outbox Margarito's socks off.

                    Floyd UD over Margarito.
