You saying David Tua is a nobody makes Ruiz look even worse. You're saying that he loss to a nobody in the time it takes one to go take a piss and come back to the TV.

      hmm

Hopkins seems good at it. Roy got into Ruiz's head very well and many other fighters just by his presence. Tyson was an intimidator.

Tarver is not that great at it. He just has good timing in who he fights. Didn't really back up much vs Roy in the 1st fight or against Glen Johnson. It don't take Hopkins two times to beat everybody.\

Ruiz kicked his ass. First person to beat Kirk. He got DQ because he was losing and got frustrated.

Freak KOs like that happen in hw boxing. Any one punch can land just right and lay anyone out.

Ruiz went on from that loss to become 2 time world champ. Where Tua? No where. Losses like that end careers but not Ruiz, because he the true champ and returns to do great things.

IMO, i would have to say the great julio cesar chavez, he never let all the **** talking affect him, one time on a press conf. the other guy was so upset that chavez didnt really pay attention to his **** talking, it made the other guy furious wanted to fight him right then and there. Dont remember the guys name though.

Tyson used to beat half his opponents before they even got in the ring. And he didn't even have to say anything.

Today I think Hopkins is pretty good at that

fear leads to intimidation, intimidation leads to defeat, defeats leads to face on canvas

Lol, some of us are still waiting on Ruiz to do those "great" things"!! Being a 2 time champ is very good, but it's been done even more than that. Ali-3 times..Holyfield-4 times. Both deserve an honorable mention if you want to keep bringing up Ruiz's 2 times.

                    hmm

It's good to regain the title but being a "x-time" champ isn't neccessarily good. You have to lose the belt as many times to get it back.
