He would win comfortably.

I think the issue is how loud the Margie fans have been for the last three years about Floyd calling him a ducker and a ***** for doing what Marg is doing now, then they turn around and defend Margs.

Boxing IS a business. It's just odd that fanboys on both sides don't think objectively.

Yes I think Margarito's relentless work rate could get to the Sugar man at this age and win him a UD. I am not going to completely count Shane out though, he is coming down from 154 and he is physically bigger than Cotto. I know we usually judge a fighter off their last performance but I though Pavlik would beat Hopkins because of Hopkins performance against Calzaghe, and look what happened.

The only thing we know for sure about Mosley & Margarito is that Mosley has had the better career. Mosley has more victories. Mosley Has won more world titles in more divisions. And Mosley has faced better competition.

They both have avoided any future fight with Paul Williams.

I agree. But for Margarito to say he is a bigger draw than Mosley is laughable.

If Shane was so easy to beat (and I believe he was) the smart thing was take the fight, benefit from the exposure it would give him and from having a HOF's name on his resume, and get the highest payday of his career at 2 mil. He hurt himself by not accepting this fight.
