if anybody really thinks ricky is gonna come out slicing jabs and trying to turn paulie into straight right hands they obviosly dont know ricky that well, i can see some improved defensive skills and maybe a few new inside combinations but if ricky doesnt make this an inside fight the devil must be s**ting snowballs

ANd why is it when anyone faces hatton they have talks with the referee first wanting protection. As if they are crying dont let Hatton hurt me. If his gloves come within a foot of touching me deduct points and give a warning to him.
Boxing is not a tickling contest! Hatton dont grovel to the ref, so Paul should zip it up, as should have PBF. Because PBF was the one with the dirty tricks when it came down to it. THe ref concentrated so hard on Hatton being dirty he missed PBFS tricks.

I'm glad someone who has become an expert through personal experience has finally come out and said it! This is dangerous for Hatton. I for one think that Magic Man will box his ears off for 12 rounds, but I realize most disagree with me at this point. We can all agree, this is a big risk for Hatton more so than Paulie. Hatton has the bigger name and more to lose.

I don't want to see another Witter fight...ever. All that posturing instead of fighting against Bradley was painful to sit through. That being said, he's right about Hatton's supposed game plan. It makes no sense to try and outbox a boxer, when all his career Hatton has been a come forward infighter. There's no way he's going to be able to totally change his style like that in just a few months. Unless Hatton presses the action, I think he's going to fall behind early, and get frustrated trying to play catch-up in the later rounds. He's lucky at least that Malignaggi doesn't have much pop, or else he could chance getting caught and hurt like in last two fights.
