He'll get plenty money with a Cotto rematch. The Golden Boy/Jin offer was a slap in the face for Margarito. Shane's gotta take the smaller purse in this one. Tony was right in declining this offer; he did Shane a favor anyway as he would have hurt him badly. Shane should thank him.

When Mayweather wanted to fight Mosley, it was to be a great test of Mosley. But when talks of Margarito fighting Mosley people already asking why he's picking on the old man.

The Goosen fight offer imo is a joke. From what i recall from boxingscenes article was that Goosen will pay Margarito 4 million but then wants a share of the revenue. And unlike the Williams fight he wants Arum to make the fight. And if that was going to take place Margarito would not be getting the 4 mil. What i would have like to see from Goosen is for him to make the fight fight promote it and he can borrow Margarito for another fight without needing Arum.

Really??? I remember reading alot of crap saying he should fight PW instead an old Shane Mosley. That would also be the same if Margarito were to beat Shane in a fight.

the same way shane seems to be to risky so instead of fight someone who alot are claiming is shot and doesn't really bring much to the table if margarito wins but if he loses his career goes back to ****, thats kinda the same thing as these so called scared fighters were doing, why fight someone that if you beat means nothing but if he beats you means alot

If it wasn't for the Vargas fight Mosley would probly still be trying to get back into the picture which is saying a lot.

margarito is not more famous than shane mosley thats like sayin margarito is more famous than trinidad or roy jones or bernard hopkins

A 4 million dollar guarantee is 4 million dollars guartantee. He called for the Mosley fight and the split was 50-50. He had a set fight with Clottey and cancelled that, said he needed more time to relax. He throws the fight with Mosley aside after he asked Top Rank to make that fight. He is NOT going to make more than Cotto in the rematch, Cotto is the draw. He's going to get a reality check with the economy.

He knew the fight offer for weeks and was making fun of Mosley for not signing on this very site, when Molsey does sign he takes off and then turns it down.
