Arce hasn't looked like himself in a long time. But if he can keep the fight on the inside Vic wont be able to do much, besides trying to land an uppercut which leave him wide open for bodyshots. But then again he may surprise me as he did against Mijares. There should be talks of negotiations already going on dont' tell me Vic is scared?

What do you mean? Arce is the biggest name Darchinyan could fight in and around that division. He in the most popular fighter from Mexico right now and brings a crowd to even the smallest of his fights. A fight between these two guys would be huge! It would be the biggest fight for maybe both of their entire careers. It would certainly be the biggest for Darchinyan.

Yes, I don't understand why he would even bother calling out Vasquez. I can understand it from a financial point of view as he may very well make more against Vasquez than anyone else, but his team would have to know that he simply does not stand any chance against Vasquez. He doesn't have the one punch KO power to even be able to have that one lucky chance. Against most guys in his division he may as he is very strong, but Vasquez is too big and has too good of a chin.

It would just be a horrible mis-match. I'm glad he is not going after him still as he could be severely damaged by that fight. Already he is looking too old to compete at the highest levels. It's even possible that a fight with Darchinyan would be bad.

I would love to see this fight but i hope Darchinyan doesnt take it, I hate the way Arce made an ass of himself when this two were suppose to fight for years...now he wants the fight after losing his steps???

God love Arce. As an Arce fan, even i will admit his days are numbered. Slagging off Darchinyan like that is not the smartest move to make and my boy Jorge will regret it if the fight takes place. If i was in Vic's position, i'd take the fight. Arce brings big crowds, not to mention the man knows how to hype a fight up. Vic could stop him in the mid rounds which will hopefully set up some unification fight with Montiel.

As for Arce, i think he deserves one final payday before calling it a career. God bless you Jorge Arce.
