Both men are known for breaking down their opponents, Mosley is known mostly for his speed and jap, but he's more than willing to stand and fight the guy head on. ****rito on the other hand breaks his opponents WILL & stamnia and comes forward no matter what - a true mexican warrior..! I think mosley is going to mix things up, first boxing margarito, then trade with him, then survive behind his jab when things get rough. If he stands on the ropes like Cotto did, he's done - no one in welter can stand with his back against the ropes and trade with margarito for 12 rounds, however, if he mix it up i see Mosley winning by a UD

Mosley needs to use his jab and avoid trading with Margarito unless its necessary. I think Mosley has a chance at winning he just needs to play it smart and not get suckered into fighting Margarito's fight

Mosley look shot on his last fight and he was fighting Mayorga so I'm picking Margo to win these one!

Shane CAN beat Margarito and he can make it a good fight at that, see Shane could **** and as long as they stay in the middle of the ring it should be no problem for Shane who has WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better movement and skills than Tony. Cotto was just unfortunate enough to draw that blank in the middle of combat, he just didn't have the answers and it was evident when he said "Margarito's body was almost impossible to hit", COTTO made that impossible because after watching the fight Tony wasn't doing none of that, he was just chasing Miguel around landing anything while Cotto was cruising.

Cotto gassed out too which is another reason why he lost, hhe took those knees out of pure exhaustion and he needed the breaks. long story short Shane can beat Tony he just gotta make sure not to do the same errors Cotto comitted and attack the body, keep it centered in the ring and punch with ALL his force.. I would pick Margarito but I didn't just start watching Boxing yesterday, I know fights and I know fighters and it would be disrespectful to myself and any true Boxing follower to sit here and say Shane can't win when he can. once signed I got Tony but I ain't no idiot, I know who Sugar Shane Mosley is and to those of you who don't/forgot then I suggest you do ya homework..

First of all let me say that I respect you but there are a couple of things I disagree with you on. I've highlighted them and below is my response and reason for it.

          1. Against Cotto he threw punches in bunches, maybe not with alot of
accuracy but at the end they took their toll on Cotto. Punches to the
arms and shoulders also have and effect on your power/stamina.

          2. What makes you think Mosley will be able to get through to Marg's body?
By what I've noticed Marg would rather take punches to the head than to
          the body, dont know why?

          3. Lastly, Mosley did not impress me in his last fight against Mayorga. I love
Mosley (not like that you ****) he is one of my all time favorites but he is
not the Shane of old day. No doubt Shane will put up a fight but he (IMO)
cannot answer punch for punch Marg's punching output, not for 12 rounds.
He would have to fight the perfect fight and I just don't believe he can
counter Marg's pressure. Just my opinion.

          May the best man win!

it depends how mosley looks, if hes sharp like against cotto, but boxes more he should be okay cause he is really tough. if he looks like he did against mayorga and margarito is able to get inside and land a lot i dont think he'd be able to take the punishment for 12 rounds.

I would have.... He's taken some helacious shots from much better competition with much bigger punchers than Margs. His age is the problem.
