His taunting wasn't bad it was just weird to see him doing it. Also someone needs to tell him to stop doing it every 10 seconds because literally thats how it felt, made the fight look like a sideshow.

in the later rounds his taunts were becoming annoying but early he looked awesome.
He would taunt and simultaneously duck Roy's punches at the same time

He might need to work on them but I thought they were funny as hell

Pretty much annoying, he could have just concentrated and try to knock roy out.

they are so bad that they're good

i do agree he over-did it a bit though, missing clear opportunities to hit the opponent because you're busy taunting is not good

Joe did over-do it for sure. But he wanted to out Roy Jones/Roy Jones. I never thought Calzaghe was going to stop him, he wobbled Roy a few times but nothing significant and when Roy covered up he pretty much took minimal damage. It was when Roy unloaded that he got hurt.

It was a comfortable night after the knockdown which was actually pretty heavy, he took the piss to add the cherry on the cake and convince Roy that he couldn't hurt him again and stopped him from opening up.

Sticking his chin infront of Roy was bad ass. It just was. If he got nailed he would have been KTFO. That's confidence. We'll never have another British fighter like that again.

for sure, gonna be weird if he does go through with retiring... i think the first boxing fight i was ever interested in was a Calzaghe fight on Sky Sports... can't remember who he was fighting though
