does anyone else think that RJJ has more left than everyone keeps on aying.

i think RJJ is for possibly the first time genuinely right, he seems to have recovered from the heavyweight weight gain and the 3 losses.

he looks to have the sme confidence and swagger tat the old jones did, i think the RJJ we see today is the same as he would have been without the weight gain and KO's. if he isn't then imo he wont be far off.

still though i have to go with calz, i just think his style and haert is too much. i dont think joe will give RJJ room to think or breathe, he will force him to fight every minute of every round. if RJJ had the old mobility and the legs id say he has a huge chance but as the fight wears on i an only see him gettin tired and weaker and the opposite happens with calz, he seems to get stronger.

calz by UD or late TKO.

Joe Calzaghe, another blown-up British boxer and one of the most over-rated fighters of the last 25 years.

Make no mistake, Calzaghe has cherry-picked and chicken-plucked his throughout his entire career.

Following a dodgy decision over a 53 year old Bernard Hopkins he is now cherry-picking on Roy Jones Jr who is a month or two away from the big 40.

This is the Roy who Calzaghe said "has been knocked out too many times", this is the Roy who Calzaghe said would be "pointless" in beating as it would "prove nothing to be the third person to KO him" - you said it, Joe.

This is the Roy who is coming back from brutal back-to-back KO defeats and has since boxed nobody of note yet he was still pushed back to the ropes by the likes of Anthony Hanshaw and an ex-retired Felix Trinidad who was fighting 10lbs above his last fighting weight, 4 years on.

As Bert Sugar said, "Joe should win but Roy could win". I believe Joe knows this may be a difficult fight which is the reason why he has agreed to a rematch in Wales (if he loses) - actions of a man confident of victory?

Sure thing, we'll have people comparing Joe to the all-time greats if he beats Roy but the knowledgeable fans know Joe has cherry-picked on Roy for the intention of an easy pay-day and an easy fight - which is why he ducked Pavlik (who Joe predicted would beat Hopkins).

Calzaghe wasn't even heard of until the Lacy fight and apparently he is a self-proclaimed legend now - 2 years on - gimme a break.

The promotion has been as poor as the fight itself. Calzaghe is dreaming of $20m yet the tics went on sale in August and they still haven't sold-out! Read the BBCs latest blog on how there is no "buzz" surrounding the fight because of the poor promotion. Joe better call Frank!

This fight is all depends on what Roy brings to the table. Joe is just Joe and he'll come forward with his Olympic amateur boxing style throwing pitter patter slap after slap but if Roy can be near to his best then based on his power and speed advantages, the 0 must go, Joe.

My prediction, Joe will win on points or by a late stoppage because old man Roy will be tired. But, it all depends on what Roy brings to the table because if Roy was in his prime then he destroys Joey 7-days-a-week.

I have a feeling that Roy in these 3 last bouts wanted everybody to believe. To believe hes declined but still competitive, to believe that he doesnt have the power no more to knock out people. In my opinion he went very defensive against badi and Hanshaw all 12 rounds to see where hes at in receiving and smoothering punches. I believe he left Tito on his feet to make everybody believe he still has some power but not that much. To make believe especially Joe about all that. Meanwhile he regrouped himself, trained hard, all for this moment, when Joe will step in the madison s.g. underrating him, and at the same time very anxious and nervous about a possible **** up.
Tonight i think well see roy go all out and looking for a KO, he knows he cant leave it on judges hands after the Hopkins bout. He will try to KO Joe, not in the angry Griffin way, but still at some point he will break loose.

will this be the fight we see cal get old in?
                roys uppercut prooves the differents!

                i hope!
                1) Joe only gets nailed by the same punch once or twice in a 12 round fight. Roy will not be slamming punches down the middle all night.

                2) Kessler has some of the best uppercuts in the game, and he was unloading to the tip of Calzaghe's chin. His reward? A fist in his face. Jones won't be able to do what Kessler couldn't.

                3) Joe could get old overnight, but if he doesn't, he cruises.
