Ok, so the steriod use isn't an issue.

I still belive it was the right hand landed by Ruiz to Roy's chin i don't think he ever recovered even though he was able to win his body must have felt like **** after that fight and never recovered.

Would you give Tarver the same considerated when he had to lose weight is what i asked.
No because he laughed at Roy and called it 'excuses'. It was fun to laugh at Tarver when he had to deal with it and got smoked by Hopkins.

Great video. One thing about Roy. Steriod use, around the Ruiz and Tarver fights Roys and the steriod scandal was going on. So there should been and added feature on that video about steriods.
**** Tarver. He is the equivalent of a One-Hit-Wonder, recording Artist.....After your first flop no one remembers you.

the difference is roy had about 4-5% body fat when he fought ruiz. tarver was straight fat in rocky. it is much easier to trim fat then to cut muscle weight. roy should have allowed a year for his body to recover before fighting tarver in order to lose that 25 lbs of solid muscle. notice mackie shilstone didnt want anything to do with the weight loss. it was an awful idea and he would not have committed to such a preposterous training scheme.

ok, so he survived the first fight with tarver with a 'w', but once he eeked out the first decision, his body was shot. the effects showed in their first fight, too. his reflexes, speed, legs, stamina were all seriously effected. after winning, he shouldn't have done the tarver rematch so soon as his body was ruined, and should most definately" have not fought dangerous glen johnson just 4 months after his first ko loss. that whole move back to light heavy was a horrible idea, and his management team should have all been fired for being so dumb.....

True, but losing 25 pounds of pure muscle can have some really bad effects on one's physical performance, even if it's over the course of a year.

the music is terrible and the vid is pointless, most real boxing fans know Roy doesnt have a glass chin.
