Cotto will fight anyone. That's what I respect about this guy. Theres never any excuses. Even in his only loss. I would rather him fight berto than clottey. I think clottey is more danger to cotto. I actually think he is the most dangerous w.w.. right now! I would like to see clottey fight cotto after cotto beats margarito in the second fight.(yes, he will win that fight!)

clottey sounds pretty dangerous. another big iron chinned welterweight that cotto might not be able 2 hurt. clottey busted zab up faster than cotto did and neutralized zab. it was a dominant victory. the berto fight would answer alotta questions. we'd find out how good a chin berto has and see if cottos gonna be able 2 rebound and get back into form after that devastating loss.

This fight aint going to happend. Arum told El nuevo Dia(PR newspaper) that the fight is not going to happend,because berto is close to sign a fight with Collazo. In my opinion thats a better fight for Berto than Cotto at this stage.

Berto has a great uppercut and Cotto is open to those...but i dont think Berto can handle Cotto's power, plus Berto is quite open himself to left hooks...i guess Cotto takes it

Anyone who thinks Berto would beat Cotto right now is out of their mind. I would love to see Cotto beat Berto, but I like Berto too so I wouldn't want this fight for him now.

This fight ain't happening people, first of all, it's not a good thing for Berto, he is still coming up and it's not a good idea for Cotto either, we have to see if that loss against Marg didn't **** him up! If anything, even being a Cotto fan, I think that Berto has a better chance to win this fight. Cotto was not suppose to lose against Margarito, in my opinion he ****ed up in my book and I really don't think he will be the same. On top of that, I know Margarito will knock him out even earlier in a rematch.

My guess is that Cotto will probly get an easier fight like Jennings...Cintron...or Karas.

And Berto will have an easy fight.

They both blow out their opponets and sets up a fight with them.

I don't think a fight with Cintron is that easy, that's a fight he can lose. But should he take on Cintron he could use that as training for the second beatdown he will get fighting Margarito.
A fight with Berto proves nothing except he can beat a young inexperienced fighter...if he loses then he is in trouble.

Collazo's a better route for Andre.

What's the rush? I know Berto has a belt, but an achievement like that
doesn't suddenly grant you experience. That last fight was his FIRST 12 rounder.
Yea, everyone says it doesn't matter, he's a champ he should fight the best, but we as fans should be demanding the best fights.
I would rather wait till mid or late 09, to see Cotto in with a FULLY prepared Berto, rather than an ALMOST ready one.

berto's title reign will be short if he gets in with cotto.
