'Ricky will be ko by a bum'-Mayweather Sr

The trainer said: “Ricky can be a much, much better fighter if he starts doing the right things with his lifestyle and body.

"I tell you something — he could get whooped by a nobody because he is doing the wrong thing with his body.

“This drinking is no good. It is going to catch up with you somewhere down the line.

“He needs to stop it right now and forget about this s**t because it is no good for him.

“I don’t like boxers drinking. Ricky would be much better off without it.

“I don’t want him to lose a fight. Our reputations are on the line. Perhaps he doesn’t care about his reputation.”
Hatton is one of life’s social animals — a larger than life figure who is virtually impossible to dislike.

But Mayweather, who has replaced long-term trainer Billy Graham, reckons those who booze with him are not mates.

He added: “If these guys were his friends they’d say, ‘We can drink man but you can’t’.”
“Ricky is one tough son of a ***** and hard to beat. Maybe he doesn’t value his career enough. If he did, he wouldn’t do it.”

is a signal guys that Floyd Sr might not be having enough confidence in Ricky, chances are he is looking for excuses when Ricky loses, its like managing our expectations, hope I'm wrong because I like Ricky

The Sun is the worst POS newspaper in Britain, it's honestly no better than toilet paper. However, I don't doubt Floyd Sr said these things -- he has said similar things before about Ricky's drinking. He hates it.

floyd isn't making excuses for himself because everything he says is true.

if these are floyd sr's words, saying these things about hatton, i think that it should be taken some what serious. look at the last time floyd sr said that he wasn't all that happy and saw some flaws in his last fighter, guzman, who didn't make weight and wasn't able to fight, albeit whatever excuse, the fact is that floyd sr didn't give a good report and **** happend, that could be the case with hatton.

unless they're trying to bait mailgnaggi into a false sense of security...........???
