Damn it, B-Hop deserves the winner of those two. If Jones beats Calzaghe, that fight would be ****ing huge. Maybe Jones knows at this stage that B-Hop may be to much for him, because he has to know how huge that fight would be if he were to beat Joe.

The Hopkins who beat Tito...MY GOODNESS. Was an ANIMAL. And even better a couple years before.

c'mon, pavlik was favored going into the fight by the boxing media and fans.
Hopkins had been looking like he was losing step the last two fights.
Pavlik is 17 years younger than Bernard Hopkins. 17 years is nearly two decades.
Pavlik is one of the top 10 atleast elite fighters in the sport, in fact he undefeated going into Saturday.
Hopkins dominated(at 43 years old, actually getting close to 44) Pavlik for 12 rounds. Thats not that good?

In 1993 Hopkins was really at his best, he was young then too.
Can you imagine Hopkins with ALL those skills but...throwing 60-80 punches a round? Jesus Christ.
I wouldn't say he was young, just younger and active.

I think RJJ is a very clever man to not give a rematch to BH. I mean that victory over BH is priceless, and especially now that BH has gone on to achieve such good things since. Nobody can take that win away from RJJ and RJJ would spoil it, if he lost a rematch to BH, which i think he would lose.
But true Pavlik didnt have much experience going in with BH. But JT didnt have much experience and he beat BH twice. So its not always as simple as that. If Pavlik fought a different fight maybe things could have been different.

Which is odd to me because why would Roy Jones Jr. not want to fight one of the sports best? I thought maybe because It was a overrated Hopkins win on Sat, and it really didnt mean anything at this point.
