I've seen every one of his fights man. I study those style of fighters for hours every day because it is what I am learning. I've seen him drop many times from one hard hit. People with good jaws usually have to be hit hard several times. Not with several soft rabbit punches and a hard hit thrown in, but several hard punches. I've seen Pavlik take several hard punches and just get woozy. So wtf man.
And how many Dempsey fights have you seen if you say he had no defense? Have you seen his earlier fights before he got older, slower, and started fighting upright a lot more? Like the first Gene Tunney fight for instance? He did not utilize his bobbing and weaving there very often or very well. Look at some of his earlier fights, just like Tyson or Prince Naseem Hamed he would slide right out of the way of tons of punches while moving around constantly and landing heavy left hooks and right crosses or hooks on demand.Last edited by dsstang25; 10-21-2008, 12:54 PM.
