No, I said I'm sure I heard his say that, and it's true, I specifically remember seeing a video recently where he mentioned it.

By the way, Pavlik was 28-0 at the time Calzaghe beat Lacy. Not too shabby.

Kelly Pavlik still had a pretty decent resume, and I still don't see why Calzaghe didn't want to be the first to take Pavliks 0 from him... And I'm a calzaghe fan, why would he want to be the first one to expose pavlik?

Cos he's already done it to a long list of other guys whom were pitched over or as close with Calzaghe, whom didn't come close. People then just say they were over rated, and where's it gotten him?

What is it, his job to correct people metal thoughts, by training for 3 months and fighting em non stop. Gona run out of motivation sooner or later and he was rearing to his last fight for a long time, he made a sound choice for the climate all considered.

I'm a Calzaghe fan, but it makes no ****ing sense to offer pavlik a fight after Joe beat Lacy... Pavlik was a nobody back then and now he is a somebody after he beat taylor twice. Why would Calzaghe offer a nobody a fight when there a weight class below him after he beat lacy??
