From what I've heard Vitali had a torn Rotator cuff, the same injury Jeff Lacy had against Vitali Tsyoph or whatever his name is and Lacy fought with an injury the entire fight.

Vitali had a shoulder injury. None of us really know how severe it was. I doubt he'd pull out of a fight he was winning so clearly unless it was really bad.

Tyson got pretty much a systematic beatdown and was knocked out by a relative nobody.

How is Vitali's "loss" embarrassing. He proved he could dominate and easily destroy Byrd, then he got injured big deal. It's not like anyone on earth actually thinks Byrd won or could defeat Vitali in a 1000 life times. Tyson on the other hand got outclassed and demolished and sent to Bolivia.

Vitali on the other hand took the MINOR hit to his reputation and recovered fully and now he's the most dominant champion.
