Great perofrmance by Vitali, been out the ring for four years come's back with no tune up fight and fights the number 2 guy, for 8 rounds Klitschko but a boxing clinic, popping Peter with jab after jab and throwing accurate and affective combinations time to time i had Vitali winning every round Peter could hardly touch him. There was some ring rust there but what do ya expect. Brillant Perforamnce by Vitali and after 4 years Vitali is back. Also Vitali's ring entrance was amazing probaly the best i've saw , really old school.

A real true champion does NOT quit on his stool if there's any fight left in him. Sam Peter ain't ****. Just like Sonny Liston of many years ago. A real champion will fight until he either gets koed of the ref stops fight. Take Jake Lamotta against Sugar Ray Robinson. Robinson was beating the bejevers out of Lamotta and he was getting hurt with every punch but did he quit? Hell no. Jake was a real champion. I hope Sam Peter never fights again. Sumb*tch!

Klitschko is probably the most accurate puncher in any division. I truly believe that the only rounds he's actually lost ate the last one against Chris Byrd, when he'd torn his rotator cuff, and had to retire, and the 2 very dubious rounds that the judges gave Lennox Lewis in their fight, mainly based on a cut eyebrow and 3-4 blocked uppercuts none of which had any effect on Klitschko at all.
As well as being strange to real boxing folks that that fight was stopped, was the fact that Kklitschko had actually won the last 2 rounds on the cards before the stoppage......
Go figure it.

Vitali beats Peter with ease
Holy **** I knew klitschko would win, But I never thought he would DOMINATE like he did. He kept pressureing Peter with his jab consistently, And Peter had no answer at all. I'm just in shock on how easy that was. Go Vitali!!!!!!!

The champ is back!
I remember being pissed off when Vitali had to give up the belt, due to his many injuries. He was on the verge of unifying the division, which at that time consisted of "champions" Ruiz (WBA), Byrd (IBF) and Brewster (WBO), none of which would have gone the distance against the elder Klitschko brother. I was especially mad because I knew all the haters would cry out that "Quitschko" was scared of Rahman. Yeah right, as if a man who stepped in the ring with an all-time great legend (and devastating puncher) like Lennox Lewis on a couple of weeks notice could actually be afraid of anyone on this planet! When I heard about the comeback fight against Peter, I didn't get my hopes up, because I remembered what happened last year (the McCline bout that fell through, again due to injury), but I was confident Vitali would beat anybody if he could just make it to the ring in one piece. His destruction of the legitimate WBC champ, and universally recognised number 2 in the division after 4 years without any tune-up fights just goes to show what an unbelievable fighter Vitali is. Almost impossible to hit flush due to his unorthodox style, arguably the hardest punch in boxing history, great chin, unflinching desire and a class act to top it off. I hope he stays healthy, and gets to fight either freak act Valuev or Chagaev. Hell, it doesn't matter who he fights because he's never been in a dull fight and there's nobody in the division who can touch him. And people bitching about how we're not gonna get a unified champ now: tonight, in Berlin, the undisputed champ returned (no offense Wlad), and let's hope his reign lasts longer than last time.
