Antonio Tarver: "Chad Dawson is Not on My Level"

I agree with Tarver. Who is the most complete LHW in the world currently.

I would even pick him over Joe Calzaghe.

        WOAH...

Hopkins's pressure ate Tarver alive... Calzaghe's balls to the wall workrate would have Tarver covering up too much, and throwing too little.

I agree with Tarver too though, I don't think Dawson is going to live up to the hype that he has gotten.

Further evidence that your opinion on any matter should be valued as much as the current American dollar. What fights since his loss have shown this superiority?

Clinton Woods was a pretty comprehensive crush for Tarver.

I like Dawson to win this one. Tarver is very good and all but he thinks he's a future HOF, he's nuts.

Honestly he has barely gotten any hype. No one mentions him along with the other champions because he is a show time fighter so he doesn't get nearly enough press and Pavlik or Taylor did. He wasn't even hyped up when he beat Eric Harding as a prospect.

I like Dawson by a wide decision. Dawson is simply too good for him at this stage in his career and the fact that Tarver has to keep talking trash shows that he is not confident himself.

I guess it is still there if he knows he is damn near guaranteed to land... Tarver looked terrible trying to fight off his back foot in that fight. That was an absolute crush.

Or a draw if you are a certain member on this forum.
