    Thanks man.

Good to hear that it shouldn't effect Kelly much, so I doubt it will have any effect on the fight really.

well it depends on where they are in sparring. Knowing the date of the fight this is either his last week of intense sparring or the week where they do light sparring where it's more based on movement and strategy then actually punches thrown with conviction. A lot of times trainers will get a smaller quicker fight for their fighter to chase during the latter portion of camp.

if it's the last week of intense sparring then it could effect them a bit but if it's just the sparring to hone in on their plan and keep Kelly's legs loose then I wouldnt worry too much

This is going to sound like one of those *******s everybody knows who constantly says "I knew that, I knew that", but in both Taylor fights, I noticed that Pavlik tends to hyperextend his elbows alot when he throws (especially his left, when he jabs....obviously trying to get maximum reach), and when I read the title I assumed that was what had happened....a hyperextension injury, which can take up to a few months to heal. Glad to hear it was just a bruise caused by a **** against another hard object, as that'll be healed within just a few weeks.

Kelly Pavlik Suffers Elbow Injury, Hopkins Still On

WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik suffered an elbow injury during sparring about ten-days ago, but it won't stop him from moving forward with his October 18th bout with Bernard Hopkins, at the catch-weight of 170-pounds. The fight takes place at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City with HBO pay-per-veiw carrying the show. [details]

Bernard has the age issue, now Kelly may have an elbow issue
                    Evens it some I think.

I hope he is still gonna be 100%. Trust me, Pavlik fans are just as worried as Hopkins fans.
Hopkins is a dirty fighter and can make anyone look bad, even a fighter Joe Calzaghe.
