hey hey hey.... NOT according to the Calzaghe's! Gary Lockett was going to destroy the over rated bum Pavlik who wasn't over rated back in 2006, only now does Joe Calzaghe say, beg and plede that he is over rated in 2008. crazy how that works.

But hey that's one of UK's finest, trained by the finest and best of the best right??????? Lockett was the man who was representing himself, his trainer Mr. Enzo Calzaghe and his country to the fullest. Its a shame he's leaving the great sport of boxing. He will truly be missed.

Haha, like I said right after the Pavlik-Lockett fight; Enzo never threw in the towel, he threw it AT Gary Lockett. After he realised how much he really ******.

What a sad day for boxing as he will be truly missed. One of the all time greats as remembered.

A trainer saying that his fighter is going to win? Wow, what a shock.

And no one claimed that Lockett was one of the UK's finest. None of us gave him a chance.

lol really???? I didn't know this thread was being taken so serious.

But no I would hope a trainer wouldn't say there fighter would lose. Enzo was talking as if he would destroy Pavlik almost the same way he was talking about how Enzo Mac would destroy Haye in less than 2 rounds.

Of course no one gave him a chance once the fight was over, he was/is pathetic and embarressed himself and his people.

But Hypothetically speaking, if Lockett did beat Pavlik. I bet People would have said he was the next best thing from Joe Calzaghe starting with Enzo Calzaghe.......

But really, who cares. The dude is the biggest piece of **** I have ever seen walk into the ring and I was embarrassed for him and more embarrassed for Kelly Pavlik having to waste his time by fighting the *****, let alone having to listen to Enzo utter complete **** about how Lockett was going to beat him. It was just pathetically sad. I would be embarrassed to even say he was from the UK.

Jack Loew was also making a lot of ****** comments. That's what boxing is: 90% BS talking, 10% two boxers actually fighting. I could do without that 90%, but it's just the way the sport is sadly.

No, this is simply not true.

Because of people like you, we had a poll before the fight and all the UK posters said that he had no chance. That is a fact.

I have facts supporting my case. You have a pro-US biased view of an imaginary future.

*****? Piece of ****? This guy would KTFO anyone on this forum, so the big talk makes you seem pretty silly in my eyes.

And as for your silly nationalistic views, there are lots of fighters from the US who lost to Lockett, so are you embarrassed?

You shouldn't be, because the fact is that people represent themselves most of the time, and just because someone is from your country, doesn't mean you should take pride or shame in their actions or abilities.
