    Mayweather slates Graham over Hatton

    #2
At the very least it will be interesting to see if Hatton does look different. The fight represents a good opporunity to do so, since he's had his tuneup now and will be against a fellow 140 boxer, who is a light puncher. Presumably this means he should have no real need to hug and hold and should be able to be aggressive.

I'm looking forward to seeing if Hatton can change effectively and use that great footwork but no clinch everytime he comes in close and develop a decent defense

How would you know if he was good or not? Have you ever been trained by him? Has he ever trained any other world champs. Grahams health apparently couldn't keep up. He couldn't feel his hands when Hattons was on the pads, surely if you cant feel the force or the punch you wouldn't know if Hatton was punching well or not? He did well to fire him

I was talking about the directions in the corner for the Mayweather fight. If Hattons downfall has nothing to do with his power, it has more to do with the fact that he rushes in with his hands down like a ******ed.

I think Mayweather had more to do with Hattons failing than Hattons inability to listen.

Obviously. In my own opinion that doesnt mean ****, I see Hatton as an overachiever. I dont see how he made it this far. My point is, when you lose to the number 1 P4P fighter in the sport, dont blame everyone else but yourself. Maybe you werent good enough...

LOL. Before the Mayweather fight, everybody praised Bily Graham at almost every chance they got. They praised Graham's style of training, the thousand pound weight lifting, the "body bag", the extremely annoying yelling, the jumping around. They praised Hatton's completely reckless speed in the ring, his knockout power, (HE KNOCKED OUT JLC!!!) his over exaggerated up-jab, his left hook to the body. This way of thinking was rampant on these, and other online forums as well as in the media such as HBO.

How could Mayweather ever match the power and relentlessness of Ricky Hatton? Hatton's camp even went as far as mocking Mayweather's training routine. They said his mitt routine wasn't ****, what is he doing? Mayweather would never be able to keep up with Hatton!

Now that Floyd Jr. effectively ruined Ricky Hatton's career, everybody sees how really ****** that whole way of thinking was. Now Ricky all of the sudden thinks he will adopt the FAR superior ways of the Mayweathers in 2 months. Ricky Hatton is DELUSIONAL.

Ricky Hatton is who he is. You can't make lemonade out of an orange.

Hatton made it this far due to attitude and commitment, heart ,desire, just like Benn, Barkley, did they over achieve ?
