Me: Did you know that "Dirk Diggler", AKA: John Holmes was American?
I know you do. So why critisize and and turn around and idolize Americans? Are you a hipocrit? Sounds like you are as far as I am concerned.
Dumb ****. Dirk Diggler is a fictional character.

I dont "idolise" him. Unfortunately not everyone can grow up to be a donkey ****ed, cokehead, ****star who ****s his life up. But I can dream!!

I only inherited the **** part from my namesake.

But I just liked the film and the name.

    I have nothing against Americans.

However, its clear that you have anti-American sentiments with everything you say, as well as with your signature. I can understand taking pride in one's country, but its almost as if you feel like you have something to prove by force feeding it in everybody's face that you believe Europe to have boxing supremacy over the United States.
One thing you fail to understand is that we aren't biased toward AMERICAN fighters. We're just don't show as much respect/regard for fighters who do all of their fighting out of the primary boxing market, which is in the United States. Filipino Pacquiao gets a lot of love in America, and where does he fight most of his competition? He fought most of the best at his weights willing to travel anywhere. Puerto Rican Cotto gets a LOT of love here as well, and he's not American. You could argue that PR would have to go elsewhere to fight competition, but Cotto is again the embodiment of a boxer who will fight whoever is in front of him and won't make excuses about what he's accomplished already.

It has nothing to do with America VS Europe. Most will agree that the cream of the boxing crop fight in America, be they American or not. A lot of fighters build up their resume by fighting in their native land, or in smaller markets, but they use that to establish themselves so they can jump into the fire amongst the elite. I have love for all great boxers who want to fight the best to be the best.

I think a lot of people dislike Calzaghe because they believe him to be "unproven". Whether this is true or not is beyond me as I don't really keep up with European boxing, so maybe people are wrong for saying he's overrated based solely upon that. But you have to understand where people are coming from with their resentment for him, when he hasn't battled many of the best during his prime, choosing not to go overseas. Its that and his outright arrogance with thinking he's the best and that he's done it all. So again, its not about America VS Europe, its about boxing fans wanting to see boxers "prove" themselves; to put up and to shut up, but of course whether or not they've already done this is all subjective and opinion.

      /essay
I stopped reading when you said Europe.

No need for an essay, that's the simple truth.

Joe was talking about Pavlik after Hopkins "2 fights left" he said at the Hopkins presser and also refuted a fight with Jones saying he was done, spent, finished.
Where's your proof of this? Both signed to fight other guys months ago, it's really easy to call someone a coward and talk about how they ducked you when they're already contractually tied to a fight.

Dirk Diggler a fictional character? No.

He was an alter ego. Example: Batman=Bruce Wayne. That did'nt mean Batman was fictional now did it?

I'm glad you have nothing against Americans, but it certainly sounds like you do when you jump at the first chance to argue with one and call them ignorant like the "quote" from you i posted before this one.

It seems to me that envy has consumed you. I like that. You are one step closer to the darkside now and I am a little dumber for acually reading the nonsense you post.

              You think Batman is real?

Ignorance is not confined to Americans, I dont look at someones nationality before I jump at the chance to point out their ignorance.

When I saw that you left me gree K on that I could not get to reading your post fast enough. I knew exactly how it would start, with the "Batman real" thing. You know I was using him as an example so i will not elaborate on that.

One thing though: I was wondering why i got green K anyways? Very rarely someone leaves me green K when dissagreeing with him/her. Was it just to get me to see that you have replied? I would assume so.

An example? Batman is a fictional character mate just like Dirk Diggler. If you're referring to John Holmes, the movie was based on him, not about him. And John Holmes was never called Dirk Diggler in any of his ****os. Hence Dirk Diggler is a fictional character like Tony Montana or Buggs Bunny. What that has to do with me "idolising" anyone is beyond me.

Ask for green k, I dont even know or care about its relevence. I'll green k all your comments if you want. I dont take this site as seriously as some people - ****** above me being a prime example.

Well, I see that you just don't get it. I never reffered to any movie. (I assume you mean "Boogie Nights") I can really give 2 pisses about that POS John Holmes. He got lucky being born with a large **** as alot of us have, he just so happened to get famous for it because **** was coming into it's own accepted market at the time. You see, I know my **** too buddy. Point I originally made was to lighten up on my American brothers here. I take this site no more seriously than you do, but that does not mean that others don't. It now occurs to me that you like the conflict and is most likely has nothing to with nationality, it's more of a personal thing because you are just a dimwit with a hard head.
