    Carlos Quintana Still Wants a Paul Williams Trilogy

    As previously reported, former WBO welterweight champion Carlos Quintana (25-2, 19KOs) is returning to action on October 25 in Puerto Rico. The fight will be held at the catch-weight of 152-pounds. Quintana is still hoping to land a trilogy bout with WBO welterweight champion Paul Williams (34-1, 25KOs). [details]

      Getting blown out as badly as he did, Quintana now has to earn a rematch.

        I think Quintana wins the trilogy

        He came into the rematch overconfident and he got caught early and never recovered.

        In a 3rd fight I think we will see a more focused, determined Quintana...He will give Williams another boxing lesson.

          Quintana needs two good wins before he gets the rematch in my books. A bounce back win and then something solid, a Bonsu or some one of the lower top level.

            I agree, I really think that a 3rd fight goes the distance for another exciting but clear UD win for Carlos. That being said, I wouldn't be shocked if Paul ko'd him again.
