There is a huge difference in that Margarito already fought Paul Williams once and will fight him again. Along with that he has been fighting almost all the top ten welters around. He wants to make one big money fight with Oscar before he is gone forever and just said that Williams will have to wait his turn, not saying he wouldn't fight him or he wasn't worth the fight.

Also even if Margarito were to accept that four million dollar deal that Goosen presented to Bob Arum, that would still schedule the fight for early 2009, it was clearly presented that way by Goosen. Both guys would probably have a fight before hand anyway, so why are people being so closed on Margarito taking another fight before then? Espescially if it's Oscar or Clottey, either one of those fights only makes the Williams fight an even bigger event.

I seriously think theres a reason why Marg's camp is stalling to make this fight. Bare with me here. I think Marg knows Williams' height and style will always give him problems. We all know Boxers not brawlers give Marg the most trouble, you saw that in the Cotto fight. I think Williams' height and reach and boxing skill will always give Marg problems regardless of him comming forward cause Williams could use that jab to back him off and move away. Marg knows this and is the reason why he doesn't seem too "optimistic" to fight Williams again. Think about it, your on top, the guy who last beat you is on top too, with the crown of being the best WW and has a belt, WHY WOULDN'T YOU FIGHT HIM ? I also believe Marg's camp is waiting it out to see if Williams can't make 147 anymore so that fight won't get made, thats basically IMO and how I look at things. I want to see this fight, it's the biggest in the WW division, WHY NOT DO IT ?

I understand that but Oscar has stated that there will be no fight between the two...So why not take the next biggest payday. We dont know if Oscar is pulling Margorito strings or what, but Oscar has made his statement regarding Margorito...Like I said earlier...I have no problem with Margorito himself...but some of his fans like Viva Mexico, and other delusional fans are being hypocrits.

Me personally..I would love to see Margorito get his bucks because he provided me with some good fights but I dont dig how some of the fans put him in a different standard. Thats the point I was stressing to the guy I quoted at first!

the biggest reasons are that margarito won't have a size advantage, he won't have a boxing advantage, and the biggest thing is that he won't have a stamina advantage. the thing that makes marg so great, will almost be irrelevant against paul williams..............
