    Hypocrites are everywhere!

If you are one of the people who are so much against Oscar Dela Hoya fighting Manny Pacquiao because of the disparity in physical size, were you also among those people who rejected the Cotto-Margarito match-up for the same reason?

I have read numerous threads regarding these 2 match-ups and I have noticed that so many people are appreciating Margarito's win, and the way he defeated Cotto and how good his chin was. Very few pointed out that one possible factor that might have greatly contributed to his victory was the fact that he was naturally the bigger guy. His physique belongs to the Junior Middleweight Class.

People may argue that Cotto is the No.1 Welterweight before the fight. He was, but his fights was mostly against guys of the same height and built. Cotto does not belong to the Welterweight Class. He is more of a junior welterweight type of guy. The Cotto-Margarito size discrepancy was very evident during the weigh-in when they faced-off each other.

So, if you are against the Pac-ODLF fight because of the reason stated above, should you, therefore, also be stating in your comments that you were also against the Cotto-Margarito fight? Just to prove that you are a true boxing fan and not just favoring another fighter or being a die-hard fan of the same.

Cottos Was A Welter Weight since 2006 i believe. Tony has been a Welter since like forever..........Cintron is tallet than tony, Quintana is pretty big. Oscar was a weltereight once. This is Not the samething thats going on with Pacman.
When was the last time Pac fought at welter weight?? Cotto MArgarito
should never be compared with Delahoya PAcMAN.

Pac is a Lightweight and DLH's last fight was at Jr Middleweight, I don't see any comparisons between that match and the Cotto-Margarito fight.

Of course Cotto belongs at Welterweight, he always struggled to make it at 140, he's a lot more comfortable at WW.

With the speed, stamina and age advantage that Pac will have against Oscar, would you feel a little confident that it may not be that too of a mismatch after all?

yeah I dont think its such a Mismatch like everyone is saying. Maybe size, but Mayweather managed to beat Oscar why Not PacMAn. He has power and seems to take one well. Oscar is old, it would be dumb to fight Margarito at this piont of his carrier. Like Max Kellerman said "you cant get in to the ring with margarito if you have one foot in the ring and the otherone elsewhere"

I'll tell you this straight up. If Maweather fought DLH with Pacman's defense, then Mayweather would have got K.T.F.O.

Hatton is a natural Jr Welterweight but he lost to PBF at Welterweight I did not notice many people moaning about that ? ( For the record I think Hatton would have lost if he fought PBF at Jr Welterweight but thats not the point )

How about the Calderon v Cazares match-up? would you guys consider this as similar to Pac-De La Hoya situation?

                    Pac started at 106.
                    DLH started at 130.
For as much as I much I love Manny, I just don't see this being a fair matchup.
Will I order the PPV if the fight is signed?
