there's $4 million on the table for a fight with Williams... is margarito scared?

I think he should fight Williams next. The money is good, and he needs to avenge that loss and establish himself as the #1 welterweight.

Since Margarito's Ring #1 welterweight and Williams is Ring #2, it would be for the Ring title.

I don;t think Tony gets hurt at all, I can see Tony beating up Williams and I can see Williams outpointing Tony again. But if Tony loses again by points what does he do, he wants to fight him at 147, he moves up to fight who exactly, Santos?

Yeah, me as a fan I want to see Tony fight Williams, but if you lose the industry won't be kind to you. Two losses to the same guy in the division and there is nobody else to fight afterwrds cause nobody would want him.

A loss against Clottey, fine, let's do a third fight
A loss against Berto, fine, how about a rematch
A loss against Cotto, fine, how about a third fight
A loss against DLH, who cares he is retiring anyway
A loss against Mosley, hey Mosley will always give you a rematch.

I don;t thin kMargarito will take it cause fter the first fight he said that he would never fight in a Goosen promoted fight again and that Bob Arum should've taken care of him. If it's Arum's promotion Margarito will probably fight him.

i'd let it marinate more. coming off a tough fight, he deserves a filler fight, or a mega-money bout with dlh. the paul williams fight can make a lot more money if they both fight on the same card against different opponents first to set up a mega-bout (ala cotto-gomez/margarito-cintron).

              for instance
              margarito-dlh, or margarito-mosley

              and on the undercard...

              paul williams-quintana iii; pw-berto; pw-clottey; pw-collazo, etc

that's called business. that way, both warriors at the top of the division can build up to a fight that will earn them both more in the end and they can both come out winners financially...

That would be great if they could make that happen, I wonder though how would Arum and Goosen put two of their main guys on the same show, they would co-promote it I guess but Arum would want the more money.

If I have prided my career on being the most avoided fighter I would. It's quite hypocritical to talk **** on others and you are doing the same in turning down the fight that needs to be made.

I think every answer yesterday in that interview ended with Oscar De La Hoya.

I would wanna prove im the best and he lost to the dude
Avoiding pwill makes you look bitchmade. You can't lose, claim that you can beat the guy, and then dodge the rematch.
