Some of you are ****ing kids.

Age is relative. Sugar Ray Leonard was finished at 32. And the fact stands that - whether you like it or not - Eubank was past his best and on his way out the door.

Geezus Christ. The attempts to rewrite history are laughable and if you think 15 years from now people are gonna look back at the Eubank win as something big than you are dumb as ****. Don't you think if it was that big a deal it would've been hyped as such when it happened? Like when Hatton beat Tszyu? But everyone knew Eubank was finished that's why no one gave two ****s.

You can try to do the same with old man Hopkins but 15 years from now, that's gonna look like Ali beating up on 40-something year old Archie Moore. Lucky for Ali, he beat ATG's in his prime like Foreman, Frazier, etc. Can you imagine if he had to hype up the Moore win? That's what you guys sound like.

He was not shot, But he was no way at his best. I mean, the did only fought twice afterwards..

And he never made SMW again, his next 2 fights were at cruiserweight, He lost both (1 by doctors stoppage) and retired. Even so, When Joe fought Eubank he was pretty inexperienced and Chris was still a good and very crafty fighter.

      A solid win.

Calzaghe has been in his share of wars. You perhaps haven't seen all his fights.

Why can't people give Joe the recognition he deserves?

He hasn't been in the wars Eubank was in.

That's what i said. I have many of Joes fights, and yes he has been in some very hard fights. But not as many as Eubank had been in. Your not actually going to dispute that, i hope.

And as for recognition. I am hoping it was not aimed at me, as i stated that Eubank was still a very good fighter and could have beaten Joe at that time due to Joes inexperince (He had only had about 22 fights I think, none against anyone stellar as i remember)

Have you ever considered he may have been psychologically shot from the decisive defeat in his fight with Joe? That may have done something to his confidence - Eubank is a sensitive guy.

It is simple. At the time he fought Eubank Calzaghe's previous best win was probably Mark Delaney, who I think was the British champion. He had been due to fight Steve Collins for Collins' WBO title, but Collins retired and the WBO rightfully ordered an eliminator between Calzaghe and Eubank. Eubank was definitely past his best, but a very stern test for a twenty-five year old boxer who had never fought at anything like world level. The fight was an excellent one, with Calzaghe stepping up to the plate to clearly defeat Eubank in a pretty tough brawl. Calzaghe still says that Eubank gave him his toughest fight.

If you're looking for a comparison, compare it to Jermain Taylor beating a slightly past his best Hopkins, but with both boxers involved actually performing better than in the American fight.

Why do Calzaghe fans feel he like takes guys souls. He didnt do that to Lacy, Lacy is just overrated and with Eubank he was over the deep end already. 2 feet in the grave.

Maybe, But Eubank had been beaten before. I doubt the loss to Joe would have devestated him to a point where he could only fight 2 more times and not train down to 168 again.

Eubank was past his best when Joe fought him, But he was not shot. As i have said time and time again, It was a good win. Joe didn't have much experience and was in against a very crafty fighter well capable of beating him at the time.

Where in the world do you get your comparisons from? Chris Eubank was NEVER on Hopkins' plane, even an old one so how can you make that comparison?
