margarito does not want to figt williams because he would lose. paul williams should be ranked number 1 after he beat margarito. the quintana fight was a fluked he was training for cintron who got scared in backed out so he could fight marg. and williams fought quintana and loss a shocker but he avenged the loss with a one round ko and he will beat tony again. mark my words this kid is the real deal. a focused williams beats everybody in te division.

The reason Williams-Margarito II isn't going to happen next, however, has nothing to do with Margarito being afraid to face him. It has everything to do with the animosity between Arum and Al Haymon, Williams' manager.

Arum and Haymon have had a poisonous relationship for the past few years, since Haymon engineered Mayweather's break from Top Rank.

The relationship seemed to thaw recently when Arum negotiatied with Williams' promoter Dan Goossen for a potential fall fight between Top Rank-promoted middleweight champ Kelly Pavlik and Williams.

However, the deal went south. Arum said he thought they had a deal and blamed Haymon, not Goossen, for killing it over money.

"We at Top Rank are not doing business with those people with the way they f---ed me around on the Pavlik fight," Arum told me this week. "To string me along for two weeks and make a schmuck out of me, I have no desire to do business with them. They can paint it any way they want. And just so you know, I'm not talking about the puppet [Goossen]. I'm talking about the puppeteer [Haymon]. If you don't want to do a fight, just say it. You don't string a guy along to f--- him up and f--- up his fighter. I almost lost a date for Pavlik because of those people. It has nothing to do with the fact that [Williams] beat Margarito. Frankly, I think Dan was as taken aback by the conduct as I was."

Any sane boxing fan knows why Arum even offered up Pav as an opponent. He does not want any threats to his fighters. He won't fight have PAv fight Abraham, he won't have Pac fight Valero, and he won't have Margs rematch Williams. We saw this coming a mile away, and you did too Viva the midget. If Margs doesn't fight Williams at all, I'll !@$#@$ on him. Arum has this way of saying, "We tried to do business, but it's the other side that messed it up". Everyone knows he wants a money fight for Margs. Yeah, ok, but don't display this facade of a fake response about Haymon when he has done this to many a fighter in the past. Bob Arum already said he wouldnt put Margarito in there with Williams in their first fight last year, He even blamed Margarito's Manager for setting him up for the loss on a Goosen Tutor promotions...I doubt Margarito's manager would overrule Bob Arum again.

if you people seriously think williams has a chance in a rematch then you either havent watched the first fight or your a margarito hater with no plain or basic common sense. margarito fought the wrong fight. he started slowly and let williams take all the early rounds with his activity. williams wasnt landing any damaging shots at all. once margarito turned on the pressure williams could not handle it. unfortunately margarito gave away to many early rounds that he could only win by ko. but in a rematch margarito would put on the pressure from the opening round and break williams down and knock him out late just like he did cotto. williams doesnt have the power to back margarito up and we all saw how badly he was hurt when he felt margaritos power.

Did you not watch cotto/margartio? you do know both of these fighters are arums right? If what you said was true this fight would never have happened. Margarito vs williams II will happen after marg unifies the belts against the winner of tonights fights. Williams is a ****en crybaby! He got a decision against margarito WHY IS HE calling for a rematch Then he considers a move to ****en 160!!!!! why not fight there since that's where he should be anyways and that proves it! All williams is doing is ****en crying looking for a payday! He has unsettled business with quintana he quickly remembers he was made look like an amature and got the **** beaten out of him. PW came back and landed a hard shot to hurt quintana and stop him but that's not as satisfying as a win as beating the **** out of your opponent for 12 rounds.

I didn't even read your second paragraph. When Pav fights Abraham, Margs fights Williams, and Pac fights Valero or a prime fighter, you get back to me. Your first paragraph stinks of lunacy.
