    My pick is Cotto, because

    1) Cotto would have provided more money down the line

    2) Mayweather could have occasionally sat on his punches with Cotto, whereas against Tony he would have to put on a very booable performance to win, he would have to be exceedingly negative and defensive (similar to the 2nd half of baldo fight or the most boring rounds of De La Hoya Mayweatehr, not like the 1st half of baldo fight or the good rounds of DLH-PBF/)
I didnt hear any booing over the first 6 rounds , and thats how Floyd would win by boxing hitting and not getting hit , just like Cotto over the first half only Floyd has grace balance and fluid movement to keep it up for 12 .

Mayweather would not stop and throw 4 punches (which Cotto shouldnt have done either), he would throw 2, move less, give angles. There would be less punches thrown on both sides. Also PBF would target the body more. less crowdpleasing, but better... (another thing Cotto failed to do). Do you really believe he wouldnt get booed? Also Cotto is Cotto and Mayweather is Mayweather

I have absolutely no doubt that he wanted Cotto to win. That was the superfight he was hoping would blossom. He'll never make that type of money against Margarito, and I think going in he'd have rather fought Cotto anyway.

stop tryna make mayweather sound brave like he's not ducking Cotto or like he's not scared of him being greater.

Floyd's an insecure individual, you know he's thinking these things, money matters, but his fragile ego matters more

It depends on if he ever (really) plans on fighting again. If he does, then he was cheering for Cotto. Cotto is alot closer to becoming at least sort of a name to casual fans then Margarito will ever be. Cotto was young, unbeaten and had beat Mosley, Zab, ect and so it would be easier to build up. But if he isnt planning on fighting again, he was cheering for Margarito. If Margarito wins, it will shut up everyone who said that Cotto ran Floyd out of the sport. He can just say that there is nobody good for him to fight now, so no reason to come back.

Personally I dont think Floyd has the legs today that he had in the past with say Baldy so on that I think it would be not so much running as in the pocket and turning and more centre ring turning and angles a 2 inch twist or dip at the very precise moment can take 60% off the power off the shot , people think Margo would just **** on him at will I dont think Floyd is that easy to **** on especially when they are as slow as Margo , Floyd is such a great balanced athlete and its this fluid movement that helps him fight the last round like the first , Ive never seen Floyd tire , Cotto on the other hand is not built for speed and he moves like a rocking horse , that action is physically so much more demanding to keep up for the whole fight than Floyds silky smoothness , Cotto moves heavy Floyd moves light and Cotto needs breaks to recharge Floyd dont .

As for booing , Floyd is always booed because the average fan dont like his arrogant persona outside the ring so he is set against before the fight even starts and the average fan wants to see blood and guts and dont like or appreciate the fantasic skills he has and many have no clue as to what they are looking at , you have super dominate sportsman in all fields of sport , the special ones that always deliver when they are against the wall , in surfing you have Kelly Slater in golf you have Tiger Woods in boxing you have Floyd Mayweather .

which ever guy is the bigger payday. I doubt floyd will get in the ring again unless it's for $18-20 million.
