I think most Margarito fans dislike Williams because he beat Tony, and the threadmaker is just plain racist in this case. We see it all the time though, people aligning with their race or nationality and arguing everything based on that, from a lot of different posters.

A lot of the people on this site who like PBF more than life itself were quick to discedit Cotto before and after the Margarito fight because he posed and poses a threat to Mayweather.

I personally like Paul Williams, part of it is the fact that so many fighters will avoid him because he will provide a true test. But I think Tony can win a rematch, despite the fact that Williams is definitely an elite welter.
