I think Paul Williams might have the pepper to put down Margarito but I wouldn't bet on it.

There's a reason why fights like 12 rounds......we saw Saturday night that 12 rounds is plenty enough, and look at Taylor-Chavez. PLUS Tony Margarito was starting to fade towards the 10th round. His legs WERE starting to go i recall numerous times noticing....lucky for him Cotto was completely done.
lol at tonys legs going., what fight did you watch? "lucky for him cotto was completely done" lol at that also. you dont think he had anything to do with cotto being completely done?

          Margarito is simply a MONSTER.
Alot of the old timers proberbly would have beaten him like Sugar Ray Robinson, Ray Leonard, Tito & Hearns are the only WW that can stop him, Mayweather can last maybe not beat him, De La Hoya and Mosely would last not sure about winning, Lamotta fought at Welterweight at some point he would win (his chin is as good as margarito and doesn't stop coming forward either great fight)

Well yeah, he did beat down Cotto...but if he had a guy that was pushing him forward instead he couldn't have fought like that. Look at him in the corner each round. He looked very fatigued. When he would move he looked fatigued too.

Turn off the Spanish if youd like

your giving him no credit,. the reason why guys dont push him back is because of the tremendous pressure he is putting on. people dont just walk thru margaritos punches,... so it isnt reasonable think somebody is just gonna back him up all day

Yeah it is a ***** to run a few miles while your throwing 987 punches. He thought he was training for a fight not a marathon can you blame for having heavy legs late in the fight?

Tommy Hearns, Roberto Duran, Floyd Mayweather, Sugar Ray Leonard(if they trained for 20 rounds).

Well that's all part of his gameplan.....throw a lot of punches be very active.....see we're talking about 20 round fights now.... He looked fatigued in round 10

Watch Tyson-Holyfield. Holyfield bulled Tyson forward......I'm not saying "walk throught Tony's punches"....I'm saying Cotto should've not been so generous always moving back...if he put his body weight on Margarito he could've worn him down a bit more. Another thing, a fighter like Cotto is not very effective in getting leverage on punches while moving backwards. Margarito is not the hardest puncher in the world but when your not making him stop from doing what he's doing, he's gonna keep doing it. That's how you get hurt.
