    IF Cotto tries to do what he did in the last 3 rounds of the Mosley fight then yes...

    HE IS A COWARD ...


    He built his reputation off of being the aggressor... and thats what you have to be ...


    i kinda see this fight going in the direction of Barerra Vs Juarez 2 ... where Barerra boxed the whole fight and won a boring decision.

      so doing what you need to do to not get knocked out is being a coward? if you were tired in the 9th round of a fight would you come out trying to throw bombs and flurrying walking your opponent down knowing you have three rounds left? no you wouldn't. you would turn that mode off and box intelligently and reserve some strength.

        neither man is a coward however they fight the fight. They are still getting in the ring and fighting, more than most on here can say i reckon.

          naw man.... i refuse to let you guys give cotto a pass for what he does and then not give floyd a pass ... or delahoya a pass... thats not right man...lets stop the nut huggin ... you get paid to fight hard for 12 rounds ...and if cotto was not known as the "AGGRESSOR" then i wouldnt say a word about him boxing but i mean .... at the end of the shane mosley fight ...he stated .... he knew he was ahead and he wanted to play it safe ... WTF? come on man ... he cant do that in this fight but i do see him boxing in order to win ...

            Floyd doesnt run, he boxes intelligently.

            The only time I recall DLH ACTUALLY running backwards was the Tito fight. That's it. We all know that was ill advice from his corner.

                  I thought this myth was smashed already. You obviously hasn't seen many Cotto fights. He's known as a fighter who breaks you down, but he's not always the aggressor when doing it.

                  You say that he need to boxing in order to win, yet you condemn him if he does. How does that make any sense?

                    This like any other sport is about winning, win by doing anythin u can as long as you win, but then again, listen to Hopkins and this could come down to his life or yours, and better yours than his, so a think if cotto comes forward for 9 rounds and decides ive done enough to win this fight i'll box smart or RUN as some fools like to call it, then let him. it mite end up like tito and oscar if he does lol
