Dixon has a record of 5 wins and 30 losses. He has lost eight of his past nine fights, and he's lost 23 of his past 25 fights!!

Dixon has been KOed in each of his past four fights, and he is age 42.

Dixon has the biggest belly I've ever seen in a pro boxer! He makes Toney look skinny by comparison...

Why is Travis Walker (BoxRec #34 heavyweight) fighting someone like this? What's wrong with American heavyweights these days?
How do you know this isnt a stay busy fight until he can secure a bigger fight. You never know what happens behind closed doors, he could have had a different opponent before this one.

He should be fighting better guys than this. I think a good test for him would be that African heavy Friday Ahunanya.

Walker's management team must have read Tunney's thread; he isn't schedule to face Dixon anymore. His opponent is TBA...

There are plenty of decent heavyweights looking for a fight right now, such as Timor Ibragimov. But team Walker won't take a chance.

He's not going to improve, fighting people like that.
God damn. The divisions prospects need to step up!

Not To Mention He Is Recovering From A Car Accident!!!!!! Probably Wants To See How He Is Recovering Before He Jumps In There With A Better Fighter. Tell You What , I'll Take Walker Over His Next Four Opponets. Hows That!!!!!!

I mean how many people go to work every single day and say oh I want a really hard challenge. Screw that.

Just a stay busy fight. And if you think about it, it doesn't really help him get his name out there. It's just a nice easy fight that he can perhaps win by dramatic ko.
thats all it is folks a tune up fight and nothing more.

Travis was in a car accident and injured his shoulder.. so its probably a tune up to test his shoulder and make sure everything is back in order without taking too much risk.

If he loses this fight he should quit boxing....All I can say is why take a chance with little or no money at risk. he is 27-1 but he hasn't fought anyone yet. He should step it up if he wants to fight a 43 year old why doesn't he fight Holifield???? Rather then that i wouldn't mind seeing him fight an Eddie Chambers.....Lefty

Most of the heavyweights have padded records. Think about it, how many fights did either of the Klitschko's have before they stepped up in competition? This could another one of your racial threads, just like your one about James Toney being overrated.
