Yup, and he's said "most likely my last fight, could be my last fight, theyre famous last words so we'll see" and more.

I started to think it was likely, but he's obviously feeling good in training, the fight with Jones is a lot earlier than expected, so he feels he might squeeze one more in, and Pavlik is being bashed on about so much he probably feels pressured to do it to prove himself to the folk whom still doubt. It's the last hoop he should jump through though.

It isn't settled, but it now looks pretty likely and I have to say, I told you so. It seems my source (guy who works at Joe's local paper) was right. Even if what I was told was a bull**** theory, it was a correct bull**** theory!

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Arum has been bluffing. It doesn't make sense from Arum's perspective to let Kelly fight Calzaghe.

Joe has maintained all along that he would probably retire after the Jones fight but he never said for sure. He still might anyway but at the end of the day, he calls the shots.

Lets just hope Pavlik doesnt get KOed by one of Joe's sparring partners or some welterweight between now and then.

I think he finally realized that to be remembered as a great in history his last fight has to be with kelly pavlik. Calzaghes resume is far from ****, I was hard on him because I was upset that he said he'd retire after the roy fight when roy is kind of shot. But knowing Calzaghe he will not look past roy jones jr., he'll get the job done... And it would be pretty cool if he fought Pavlik and then retired as a atg. People can say what ever they want about Pavlik, but Pavlik is good. Theres nothing bad about Pavlik at all, thats a beautiful opponent to fight and retire to. I see him beating Pavlik, but JC is pushing his career long I'm say he should fight Pavlik then retire. Hopefully he beats pav. Pavlik literally destroyed all his opponents except for jtaylor in the rematch.
