The problem is, with Klitschko's past, people are always going to doubt him; and possibly with merit. I mean, I wasn't overly impressed with the way he handled Thompson. Why?
Well, one side can say the Wlad has learned he has stamina issues and wants to fight at a steady, measured pace - but Tony was ready to go rounds before he was put away, and was allowed to stay - Klitschko often looks plodding when he should be more aggresive. Fan or critic- you have to admit Wladimir could have KOed Thompson several rounds earlier.
Why is this an issue? Well, Tony wasn't going to hurt Klitschko at that point, and so he posed no problem, but I've heard Emmanuel yell at him before for this. He once told Klitschko something around, "Your letting him stay in front of you and you might get hit with some crazy ****!! Knock him the **** out!" Steward was very upset and even smacked Klistchko a few times. You guys probably remember the fight.
Anyway, my point is- Klitschko would be fighting a blown up cruiserweight if he fought Haye and so, instantly, you'd like to give him the advantage in power and size. The problem is, if Wlad lets Haye stay in front of him and doesn't put him away, there could be some serious danger. It's hard for me to imagine David wouldn't possess enough power to at least deserve some respect when he moves up, and Klitschko has shown an inability recently to step up at crucial points and end a fight at the first opportunity. Mark my words; when you have a fighter with some chin issues, that is the last thing you want. If this keeps up I'm afraid Klitschko could very well get caught with something just because he's letting someone stay in the ring that he should put the pressure on to finish.
It's a dangerous thing to let a heavyweight boxer with any type of power stick around longer than you need to. I like Klitschko, but he needs to work on applying more pressure when an ideal opportunity to do so appears; case in point several rounds earlier in the Thompson fight. Klitschko could have ended it.
Letting Haye, or another more natural heavyweight, stick around like he let Thompson and even Ibragimov do, that's a dangerous thing- and very well could be his downfall. Just my thoughts.

It makes a change to read some sense on this subject rather than the pathetic nonsense being spouted - in the main by Wlad 'fans' it has to be said.
Haye's gay? He's got bad teeth?
Get a life.

Haye best chance is to knock Klitschko the **** out in the first round. When Wlad is panicking.
Can he do it.
Wlad has to be more aggressive than he has been recently against Haye. ****ing definetely.
Someone is getting ****ed up if these two fight.Last edited by sparked_85; 07-14-2008, 05:39 AM.

I agree with you Wlad need to be more aggresive if he fights Haye, He panicks too much when someone gets close to him, You could see his too scare and doesnt want to get hit.
I cant believe he could beat Haye with the way he fought both Sultan and Tony but hey anything can happen in boxing, I havent seen Wlad throw an uppercut or go to the body of his last 2 opponents, While Haye has a wicked uppercut that he throws alot.
