What is the process to overturn the outcome of a fight? Anyone know?

It's conceivable since it was on the first round and it was clearly a headbutt what had him hurt...I'll follow this up to see what happens

he did get headbutted and it did hurt him but that right hand took him right out, forget the no contest. they can have a third fight.

The headbutt clearly affected him, but how much?

It will be very difficult to prove that it wasnt genuine KO.

I don't think they will over turn the decision. A third fight would be the fair way to resolve this.

It should be declared a no contest, since there would have been no knockout if not for the headbutt that had him badly hurt.

I understand the controversy to a degree but come one folks...

Fact: The stoppage of the first fight was premature and a hometown call, yet that wasn't overturned...

Fact: The headbutt was as much Torres's fault (if not more) than Holt's and was largely caused by Torres' wreckless agression. It was unintentional.

Fact: Torres fouled Holt after the knockdown and could have seriously hurt him, yet no penalties or warnings were assessed.

Fact: Holt punches a lot harder than you guys give him credit for (not in this thread, just in general on the forum). The only reason you haven't seen Ko's from Rated R lately is because of his shocking 1st round KO loss on ESPN a few years back. He has since opted to be a boxer/counter puncher and only went for the KO when it presented itself to him on a silver platter. The boy can pop, especially if you press the issue and put the pressure on him (i.e. 2 knockdowns).

Give the man his W and let them duke it out once and for all in the rubbermatch!!!!!

I don't think it should be a NC. I think the WBO should just order a third fight to take place in 120 days (that's 4 months for those who don't know). Even if the headbutt hurt him, it was the right hand that KO'd him.

He wasn't KO'd by the accidental foul, but I can see where someone could make an argument that he should've had 5 minutes to recover from the accidental foul and, if he couldn't continue, then he gets DQ'd. However, the ref would've had to see the foul, which it seems he didn't. That's why the WBO should just order an immediate rematch
