Last week I went to a bar, the only bar, that was showing the PAC - Diaz fight. And only handful of of boxing fans turned out(mostly Filipinos and Mexicans).
Last night, I walked around and saw that there were several bars that was carrying UFC 86. And every single one of 'em was at its full capacity. So I ended up watching the fight at the same bar I saw the PAC - Diaz PPV. Another difference I saw, was that MMA fights tend to attract a more diverse crowd.
In today's boxing, only DLH and the now retired Floyd could have fans showing to see a fight at a bar. But the UFC has had this trend going on for a few years now with various fighters.
