    Because when you go down and pop right back up midswing, you're bound to get hit by a punch already coming. The ref should be in the middle of that. A good ref would have been. Can't blame Torres for doing what he trains to do.

          The headbutt wasn't even intentional.

          So you can't blame that on Holt either.

          The shot to the liver is why Torres had his hands down in the first place.

          The headbutt is an EXCUSE..

            That shot to the liver was DECENT at best, nothing that compares to the shots Cotto delivered that Torres took well for a while. He stumbled when he got headbutted. Video tape doesn't lie. I'm not saying he meant to headbutt him. But, you might not mean to trip someone in a race, it still affects who wins the race.

              The liver shot dropped his hands.

                Even if that's the case, he wouldn't have gone down from that shot and would have been able to see or prepare for the shot that came after. Unfortunetely, that shot was a head butt, that.. well...... you can't block much.

                  he got hit with the "devastating liver shot" then threw a right hand and crashed heads with holt knocking his head back violently. i guess after they knocked heads he realized how bad that body shot was and slumped into the ropes with his hands down thinking "wow what a body shot"

                      He wasn't going down from that shot but it stopped him dead in his tracks..and it did cause him to drop his hands.

                      Stop with the headbutt EXCUSE.

                      Holt took his best shots...showed HEART getting off the floor..and knocked his ass smooth the **** out.

                      No controversy...unlike the first fight.
