Oscar's performance against Floyd showed that he still has some fire in the furnace. I respect Mayweather, but he did not beat De La Hoya with his "C" game like he so claims, that's just arrogant to say. Close fight and if you get a SD loss against the P4P best, you're still in the game.

As for Trinidad...he got floored, taunted, and humiliated by a shadow of Roy, enough said. I do agree this fight is not very relevant to the game today.

yes but, TITO was fighting a guy that was the LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT, CRUISER WEIGHT, AND HEAVY WEIGHT CHAMPION AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER! NOT a Jr.Lightweight, Welterweight, WHO COULDN'T EVER BEARLY MAKE 150LBS.

They should've rematched years ago, but it probably won't happen anyway.

We should try and get an Ali/Foreman rematch while we're at it.

Roy Jones never was Cruiserweight Champion or even had a title in that weight division. He held titles at Middleweight, Super Middle, Light Heavy, and jumped to 193 lbs. to fight as a Heavyweight. Yes, you're right the size difference is a factor, but Floyd's technical skill is superior than Roy's ever was. Roy is probably shot, Floyd is not.

No one could possibly give a crap about this fight; this is what kills boxing.Hell, even when they were a couple of unbeaten titans, pound-for-pounders their style didn't gell well, Trinidad can't cope too well with good movers who can use angles on him, we've seen that, plus he's only fought once in the past what, 2 and a half or 3 years? gimme a break, this is pointless. If this fight was relevant it was in 2000, not 2008
