I don't need to explain myself to you but since you want to keep pushing the **** I gotta remind you that Williams fairly won that fight and I've said it many times before, he outboxed and outpunched Tony that night, I had the fight even at the 11th round and Williams went ahead and won the 12th. It was Tony's fault he lost, no if's or but's.

So don't try to spin my words around, this is the perfect example of a regular boxing scene poster, twisting words around to make others think you know what the **** you are talking about. You know exactly what I meant on my original post, stop hanging onto that Somali's nuts.
    Somali? You're a bigot.

You had it even heading into the 12th? LOL now I know you're lying because you can't have the fight even unless you deduct points from one guy or one of them goes down.

For a guy whose signature is dedicated to someone who lost to a fighter you discredit as a cheater, it's you who should stop swinging on the ding-a-ling, not me.

Yes! That's what shocked me too. I do think he'd be better of moving to 154 first though. I just can't see how jumping from 147 to 160 is a good idea..

If the weight is killing him he should move up to 154. He could actually have moderate success there before risking his health against the bigger punchers at 160. I think Williams could potentially take some of the 154 champs like Mora and Phillips. He should stay away from Alcine though.
Yeah, that would be much more realistic than jumping up two weight classes to fight a Kelly. That's just straight up crazy IMO.

Williams started at junior middle and fought at middle for the record.
          **************************************

cosign. would be more interesting than the guy pavlik just fought.............

but, at the same time, the fight would most likely be on PPV, an i would rather see PW move up and fight a legit middleweight first, b4 he tries to jump str8 up to pavlik...............

every1 keeps saying he should fight the winner of margo-cotto, but we all know dlh is waiting for that, and despite what many of you posters like to put out there, no1 in there right mind would turn down a dlh fight for big money for a fight against stiffer comp w/ considerably less money involved.

so whats pw supposed to do?

No, he's from North Carolina. Shalafi just cannot contain his hatred for a fighter who beat his hero.

I'm going to play devils advocate here...

Like all Pavlik fights, this one would come down to two things: 1) Can Kelly hit his opponent and 2) Can his opponent take his shots?

Paul Williams has an excellent chin, and is capable of producing very elusive displays of distance boxing when in with a big puncher, just as he did against Margarito.

He is also much much faster then Kelly Pavlik, and one of the only guys who could match him for height and reach. Workrate too.

What if Williams just got on his bike all night and Kelly couldn't catch him, what if Williams threw more punches than Kelly? What if Pavlik's best shots didn't put him down?

Bro twisting words around should of stopped two posts ago, change the strategy it's getting boring. So basically I can't comment on a fighter or give my .2 cents about a real bull**** strategy being played by his promoter in order to hype up his fighter and make the real MW champion look like a ducker? **** I must be in the wrong forum then...this is a boxing forum after all is it?

It doesn't change the fact that Williams beat Margarito, and yes I had the fight even before the 12th. Margarito turned on the jets after the 5th round and punished Williams badly.

The Ghost ducked The Punisher. Musta been seeing him demolish his last opponent so early on that made team Pavlik advise him not to fight him or turn it down.

Wait, wasn't this claimed on someone else, weird...
