that was a pretty decent fast uppercut dont know what ur talking about
It was an arm punch. Not thrown with full extension or body weight hence no power. All your punches are like that though, so it fits in just fine...

        That was not real sparring.

Your an idiot. A fat guy....does not constitute a weight class above. the guy was short an overweight, was slow and had no boxing experience nor did he try fully to hit you. Your ****.

        That was not real sparring.

You were twice his height! He was a fat ****!

Look you don't fight like RJJ, you don't look like your in shape at all. You have NO back muscle but i don't think you know that punches aren't made powerful through your back muscle it's through your legs then your hips and you don't move your legs or your hips. It's all arm punching.

Roy Jones Jr is a 4 weight division champ, you have had what? 4 fights maybe? Roy Jones got silver in the olympics, beat Bernard Hopkins, beat James Toney etc.
You're an amatuer fighter hitting a bag that doesn't hit you back with constant ****ty hooks means nothing you don't move your hips, one jab and the entire 50 hooks you threw will be distrupted. Learn how to box.

mate i think u need to take the positives out of what people are trying to tell you....ur asking for advice but if teh advice people give u isnt wat u wanna hear u dismiss it....plenty of people have said...get a trainer....work on the fundamentals (which im certain roy jones did first as he can fight with his hands up!). watch boxers who are good at different thing, dont just limit yourself to one style...try a few maybe u never know u may find a different style more effective when it comes to fighting and not training! anyway...try and take the positives and not just dismiss them for saying you arent like roy jones....lets face it...u might be one day but right now you arent...u need to do the basics first styles develop with training, trainers and fights they dont happen cause u want them too

                  good luck tho!

Roy won the olympic silver before his debut! He was accepted into the Kronk gym! he sparred with fighters like Gerald McCllean before his debut, he had well over 100 amateur fights before his proffesional debut! that was within a decade, you have 2 years. He had more experience than you when either of you debut, you'll get KTFO when you debut.
