Yeah he moved his head, but he blocked a good many punches with his gloves when he fought guys that weren't afraid to punch. As for the name, I'm just going by what Cus, Patterson, Rooney, Atlas, and other Catskill guys call it. Ref Elmo Adolf told me he was biting the thumbs during the trials and box offs when he was frustrated. LOL! Anyway Tyson, took that style to another level. What's fun is watching Rooney fighting because it was almost exactly like it. Arguello dropped him like a bad habit. I have a kid that tries to fight like RJj a lot of times, but fortunately he has really good speed and instincts and gets away with a bunch of mistakes. It isn't good for amateur scoring now though.
