Didn't Buster train by sittin watching tapes of him KOing Tyson for that fight thought?

I was under the impression he was out of shape for Holy...

        From Boxrec on Holy-Douglas

Douglas weighed in at 246 pounds for this fight, 15 pounds more than he weighed when he fought Tyson. Although Douglas had weighed in at higher weights during other points in his career, he clearly was not in the stellar shape he was in to fight Tyson. In fact, psychologically, Douglas also seemed to be in a different state of mind than when he fought Holyfield, as he did not throw many punches and seemed to have other things on his mind.
Interestingly, within one minute into fight, one of the BBC commentators stated that Douglas would get knocked out. He repeatedly criticized Douglas's shape throughout the fight. Holyfield did a very good job in the first two rounds of counterpunching and moving his head, and Douglas didn't have any plan B. In the third round Douglas was caught with a counter right hook from Holyfield that put him down. Douglas, although conscious, showed no attempts to get up. Casino owner Steve Wynn was furious afterwards and insisted that Douglas not be paid for his lack of effort.

Personally I think it's Bowe, with Tyson a close second.

it's pointless, you trying to convince the guy who'll use whatever pathetic perk he can to down grade tyson, and has nothing but blind hate

Tyson was gone by the time he fought Holyfield and the manner in which he beat him was particularly easy, the 3 fights with Bowe proved Holyfield could overcome versatility.

Bowe HADN'T self-destructed when he fought Holyfield, Tyson's career as a great heavyweight was over when Douglas beat him.

It was a good win as Tyson was a still a top heavy, but I think at the respective stages in Tyson and Bowe's career, Bowe had a lot more to give.

okay first 90% of what you said is wrong. here's why

i love how people say that holyfield dominated tyson and beat him at his own game. when if you watch the tape you can clearly see that tyson is doing very well in the early parts of the fight, and holyfield is fighting smart and grabbing mike, and grabbin him often.

lewis, and douglas dominated tyson, holyfield did not. but he did give him a good beating

second if tyson's career was over after douglas he wouldnt have come back and give his 2 memorable perfomances again razor ruddock. if tyson was done he wouldnt have been able to win belts after 4 years of inactivity. this wasnt prime tyson, but it was not quite the tyson that fought lennox lewis either, who by then was clearly done

bowe was beaten by golota like a dog, TWICE. did you see that tyson did to andrew, and mind you this was during the period when mike was stoned. not in the fight obviously, but it was the time in his life when he was experimenting with drugs. i figure you for another tyson hater

bowe was already in decline when he was finishing up the trilogy with holyfield
